EVERY SUCCESSFUL SEASON BEGINS WITH STRONG PRE-SEASON TRAINING

Many Thanks to Marina Island Pangkor Resort & Hotel

Located in Perak Malaysia, the Marina Island Pangkor Resort & Hotel is a place that is suitable for all ages to visit and has much to offer. While the hotel has many different types of bedrooms which are spacious and clean, it also features a wealth of facilities and activities.

You can create your own Sports Team (football) training camp to best suit the needs of your team, ideal for youth clubs and international school teams looking to improve.  This can be done for all levels of team – add in fitness training, cross training, team building, core training, classroom sessions, the list goes on – whatever you need to help your team improve, they’ll help you reach your goals!

Under the arrangement of football agent Ho Jinghui, the Warriors Football Club Singapore Premier League team had the privilege of having the stay at Marina Island Pangkor Resort & Hotel sponsored during our pre-season tour to Malaysia in January.

Here are some of the highlights which took place to show what a wonderful and unforgettable stay at the Marina Island Pangkor Resort & Hotel was:

Limbering and Ball Work

The hotel had ample open space and grass patches. This allowed the players to do their strength training, core exercises and limbering. They also had the opportunity to do some ball work to sharpen their skills.

Warriors FC player development at the resort hotel

Sports Facilities

Apart from training, our players were able to spend time to play beach football and volleyball in the courts provided.

When not on land, everybody also had the opportunity to take part in water sports such as kayaking and paddle boat riding.

Frenzy Hippo Waterpark

A highly recommended place to visit during the stay was the Frenzy Hippo Waterpark. Made up of different floats shaped into an obstacle course, it was great to see the players taking the opportunity to bond and cheer for each other as they attempted to clear the obstacles.

Friendly Match with PKNP

On 17 January, we played a friendly match against Malaysia Super League side PKNP FC. We were honored to have Ms Ding Mei Looi, Group CEO of Marina Island Group of Companies visit the match.

As we kick off our SPL season on 16 March, Warriors Football Club would once again like to thank Ms Ding for sponsoring our stay at Marina Island Pangkor Resort & Hotel and also everyone there for the wonderful hospitality we received. Special thanks must also go to football agent Mr Ho Jinghui for making special arrangements which enabled the trip to take place.
